Alex works as Experience Design (XD) and Innovation principal at Accenture (a big tech firm). He creates and leads teams of user experience designers, software developers, artificial intelligence and data people, end users and other specialists to make new, better services, products and experiences for people.

He's also the founder of the XDs and interested in a whole host of things, including game theory, systems theory, design and user experience, psychology and robotics. Occasionally he teaches MA students in Oxford and London.

Previous jobs he's had include pot washer (Pizza Express), shelf stacker (Tesco), animation artist (Walt Disney), and Experience Design Strategy Director at a couple of large global businesses.

He's also from Wimbledon, so yes, he's a Womble.
