'For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them'. Aristotle
The XDs is a not-for-profit, specialist network of dreamers, thinkers and makers who are driven by a desire to promote human flourishing, extend learning, generate more meaning and deliver social benefits.
The XDs collaborate with end users, public and private organisations to run projects that have problem solving, prototyping, play and learning by doing at their heart.
Projects tend to be at the interface of science, emerging technology, design and the arts, and tend to explore questions linked to health and wellbeing, culture and society.
Projects also prioritise working with end users to generate insight and make new, more meaningful, human-centred products, services and experiences.
